Private versus commercial users
We are dedicated to producing a system which increases reliability and efficiency across the transport spectrum.
We welcome both private and commercial users, read on below to find out which you are. Note you may well use Cooreea in both private and commercial ways, this is fine.
We are working towards making it flexible and transparent in the system as to what type of user you are and what licences you carry.
Private Users
A private user is not using Cooreea for commercial gain and is using the contract functionality in order to recoup some of their private vehicle costs, meet new people and be environmentally responsible. Private users are not required to give receipts for services.
If you are using Cooreea to find lifts and send consignments which are of a non-commercial nature and your intention in transferring money to them through Cooreea is purely to assist with the Drivers transport costs you also fall into this category.
Commercial Users
If you are using Cooreeas funtions to make profit from your driving then you are a commercial user. It is required that in line with local laws you are a legal transport operator with the necessary vehicle registration, licenses and insurances to carry goods and/or people. We will be introducing the ability to list these details in the future.
If you are using Cooreea to send goods or travel and wish to obtain a tax deductible receipt for the service then you will want to partner with commercial users.
We are currently working on tools for commercial users with advanced matching capabilities.
